private garden-porch, fine infinity pool, unique Inca-style architecture
The poorly placed bathroom closet feels unhygienic, unintuitive room layouts disrupt romantic ambiance!!! More attention to internet reliability and electrical outlets would enhance convenience!!!

A memorable stay with alpacas

However, the communication regarding our airport transfer left much to be desired.

The location is stunning and isolated, with the river flowing nearby. The staff were incredible and attentive, especially Estephany at the pool who recreated a special drink for us. Breakfast was a delightful treat, with made-to-order egg dishes and pancakes! !
While the ambiance was serene, the restaurant service was a bit slow at times, which disrupted our dining experience.

The garden space is gorgeous, and the views of the Urubamba River are simply breathtaking. Each morning, I enjoyed my breakfast on the terrace, with perfectly prepared egg dishes and pancakes. The private garden-porch attached to our Junior Suite was a delightful spot to relax and sip coffee. I loved the unique Inca-style architecture of the hotel. Feeding the resident alpacas daily was a highlight! However, communication for our airport transfer was frustrating. the concierge didn't respond in a timely manner before our arrival. Additionally, the restaurant service felt slow during meals, which interrupted the flow of our dining experience. The spa, while beautifully designed, could improve on the temperature of the Inca shower which was quite cold for my liking. Lastly, the location feels isolated, limiting options for dining beyond the hotel. Despite these drawbacks, the staff's warmth and the tranquil setting made for a memorable stay. Having direct access to the Hiram Bingham train just outside the hotel really made everything easier for visiting Machu Picchu.
